 BENSA International opposes the Jack in the Box "Bacon" Milkshake BENSA International is issuing a Fakin’ Bacon Member Alert today regarding a “bacon milkshake” that will soon be served at Jack in the Box restaurants, according to ABC news. Not only does this milkshake not include one iota of real, crunchy bacon (bacon-flavored syrup is used instead) – it weighs in at a whopping 1,081 calories. BENSA International urges its members skip this faux bacon imposter shake and instead enjoy the real thing. “A slice of crispy, crunchy, delicious broiled or pan-fried bacon has just 46 calories,” says BENSA International founder Eliza Cross. “You could enjoy 23 strips of real bacon for the same calories in this sham shake. Jack in the Box is clearly trying to capitalize on the popularity of bacon, but we’re confident Bensans won’t be suckered by this spurious scheme.”
